Create an macOS App Preview video
Create a screen recording, resize, edit and add a voice over
To create a macOS App preview video, you can mostly use tools already available on macOS. As the Appstore only accepts a certain video size, you probably need to resize the video to match. This is what you will need:
- Quicktime – to create the screen recording
- Handbrake – to resize the video, free download
- iMovie to edit the video – use ‘App preview’ as project setting
- Optionally use macOS terminal to create a voiceover
